
The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABRŪ) designation is the
benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted
designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate
Buyer's Agent Council ("REBAC") of the National Association of REALTORSŪ
who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
There are five major requirements to attain and use the ABRŪ
designation:
*Completion of a 2-day ABR core course through an
accredited course provider
*Completion of one elective course.
*Passing
a written examination on legal and practical aspects of agency
representation.
*Practical experience requirement of acting as a
buyer's representative in 5 documented and verifiable transactions.
*You
must, at all times, be a member in good standing with REBACŪ and the
National Association of REALTORSŪ.
